WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you (the “User”) purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we, NAT (the “Provider”), collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded here.

Your private information required for executing any order placed through the contact with us, namely the your personal information, such as your delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by us and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product.

We undertake that we take reasonable steps to protect personal information and to secure the payment facilities to receive payment for goods sold. We cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on their device.

When you browse our store, we may automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address, but not your email address or any other distinguishing information, in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent at the Website, pages viewed, etc. We use this information to determine use of the Website and to improve content thereon. We assume no obligation to protect this information and may copy, distribute or otherwise use such information without limitation.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

The User understands that their content (not including payment methods), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Payment methods we all always strive to encrypted during transfer over networks.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Your data is stored through NAT’s databases and is protected within reason.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
