NAT is a luxury, natural fibre clothing brand based in Cape Town, South Africa. We offer artisanally manufactured, timeless products which are made to last. We use only the finest materials that nature provides and nurture the heritage of artisanal skills, paired with innovation, to create products which tell the story of their origin and has that special touch to make you feel more beautiful and vibrant.

Our name
NAT reflects the core elements of our products – NATURAL, ARTISANAL and TIMELESS and we strive to always live up to these values.

Natural
Only the best natural fibres are used for all our products. Nature provides the best raw materials and we showcase this in all its splendour. Therefore, we source these materials from around the world. At NAT we are able to trace all of our products to their origin. We monitor the raw material to ensure that no harmful substances are used in the treatment and to ensure only the purest products touch your skin. All our products are sustainably sourced so that the supplies are protected for future generations.

Artisanal
Our suppliers and us inspire each other daily with mutual skill transfers. We work with small family-run workshops where highly skilled artisans create our NAT garments. These artisans have passed on their knowledge and skills from one generation to the next, preserving this intimate knowledge and impeccable craftsmanship.

We personally travel to our manufacturers, meeting and getting to know the people behind the fine craftsmanship we expect at NAT. By using this personal approach, we are able to work together more closely and ensures a lean, efficient production process with us certifying each step to ensure transparency and traceability of production.

The human touch is therefore an integral part of our products. We will continue to work with these artisans in order to support their craft and honour their excellence.
